A Message from the President

As we close out 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible year it has been for SHRM New Orleans. Our chapter showed up—big. From packed monthly events to new partnerships, volunteer initiatives, and some seriously impressive member engagement, you all helped make this one of our strongest years yet. Thank you for being the heartbeat of this community.

And now… we’re ready to turn the page.

I’m thrilled to welcome our newly elected 2026 Board of Directors. This group brings fresh ideas, bold energy, and a shared commitment to elevating HR across the Greater New Orleans region. Their passion is contagious—and trust me, you’re going to feel it in everything we do next year.

We have an exciting 2026 already taking shape: innovative programming, expanded member resources, new opportunities to volunteer and connect.Consider this your official warning: it’s going to be our most dynamic year yet.

Thank you for being part of this chapter, for investing in your profession, and for showing up for one another. I’m honored to serve alongside you, and I can’t wait to see what we’ll build together in 2026.

You can still attend all our event regardless of your membership status as an affiliate.

Our volunteer SHRM New Orleans board of directors work together to help provide the best resources for each and every member through our events.  Our monthly meetings and professional development opportunities provide both SHRM and HRCI credits for our certified members seeking credits for recertification.  SHRM New Orleans events are planned to provide current, significant human resource knowledge to address challenges that impact people and organizations in the Greater New Orleans Region.
